A woman who won $5000 in the Quest Newspapers Live Local, Shop Local promotion will keep her promise to give the money away to a good cause.

Jane Walker made a promise to God as she submitted her one and only entry in the promotion: "Lord, if I win this I'll give it all away". The money will go to help needy communities in the Solomon Islands, where fellow members of the Logan Reserve Seventh-day Adventist Church have already helped set up a clinic.
