Advertising
Advertising space is available in Record, subject to availability, at the discretion of the editor and at such costs as set from time to time by the editor in consultation with the management of Adventist Media Network.
Advertising in Record is offered primarily as a service to church entities, departments and members. However, it is also a useful source of income applied toward defraying the costs of producing Record.
No advertising involving fund raising of any kind is authorised unless permission is specifically granted by the South Pacific Division.
All entities advertising guest speakers are to ensure proper authorisation has been obtained from the appropriate administration/s, and provide written documentation demonstrating that service requests have been organised in the approved manner.
Classified advertisements
All classified advertising is at the discretion of the editor in consultation with the senior consulting editor.
Classified advertising is available only to church members and persons closely connected to the church. Please provide the name of the church you attend, the name of your church pastor and their contact details.
Classified advertisements must be perceived to be of benefit for members.
Payment must be received before advertising is placed.
Record does not advertise:
- Health supplements and inappropriate health programs;
- Inappropriate books, websites and audio visual material with respect to content and source;
- Matchmaking, pen pals and requests for personal contact, such as seeking friends who have lost contact;
- Investment opportunities or financial and investment advice;
- Requests for persons for employment or voluntary roles except by official church entities and officially Division-recognised supportive ministries;
- Local church events, other than anniversary celebrations and reunions, except with the approval of the local Conference and South Pacific Division;
- Rental properties, including holiday accommodation;
- Inappropriate offers of any kind.
Display advertisements
Display advertising is limited to church entities and departments
Supportive Independent Ministries officially recognised by the South Pacific Division may advertise with the specific permission of the consulting editor. The presently recognised organisations are:
- Asian Aid;
- International Children's Care;
- New Zealand Christian Foundation;
- Eastward College;
- Medical Missionary Training Institute;
- Sonship
- Pacific Yacht Ministry
Organisations and individuals not recognised by the South Pacific Division as independent supportive ministries may not purchase display advertising space in Record. Classified advertising space may be available for them in accord with the guidelines above and at the discretion of the senior consulting editor in consultation with the editor.
Inserts
Only official entities of the Church are authorised to place inserts in Record.
If local churches or conference institutions wish to place inserts in Record, they are to first obtain authorisation from the local conference with reference to the substantive content of the advertisement
Prices
Classified advertising (text only):
1 issue - $60 +gst for first 30 words, and $1.98 for each additional word
2-4 issues - $54 +gst for first 30 words, and $1.80 for each additional word
5-9 issues - $50 +gst for first 30 words, and $1.63 for each additional word
10+ issues - $45 +gst for first 30 words, and $1.49 for each additional word

Payment
There are three options available for payment, credit card, cheque or direct deposit.
For credit card, you are able to ring through and give your details.
