24 Adventist kids from all over New Zealand have thanked adults and ministry leaders for creating opportunities for them to be more meaningfully involved in worship and spiritual activities.
The coldest May weather in Rotorua in living memory did not stop the 97 children's ministry leaders, 27 staff and 24 children from focusing on how to equip a generation of children to make a difference in the world.
A team from the Institute of Worship lead by Dr Lyell Heise trained the kids in music and drama.
Other participants were encouraged to connect positively with children, by creating a safe environment where children can relate with adults, and catch a vision of meaningful faith.
