Anniversaries

Jackson, Merrill and Linette (nee Robinson). Family and friends gathered at The Cuckoo restaurant for a celebratory lunch of thanksgiving for the amazing 60 years of marriage of Merrill and Lin Jackson. Lin and Merrill were married in the Auburn church on Lin's birthday, 5.1.1950, by Merrill's father, Pastor J.S. Jackson. Lives lived fully for the Lord, Merrill, a psychologist and author, Lin, a talented pianist and teacher, continue to serve in their community and local church at Yarra Valley. Inspirational to their three children and spouses, Lindy and Ian, Nomi, and Deane and Ruth; five grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.

White, Pastor Alan and Nancy (nee Royce), were married 30.12.1959 in Perth church by Pastor Eric House. Members of their wedding party, family and close friends enjoyed a tasty luncheon at The Curry House, and then afternoon tea at the Whites' home in Cherrybrook, to recount God's blessing and leading over the 50 years. They have two children, Grant and Kristen (Brisbane) and Lea-Anne and Richard Ewing (Sydney); and three grandchildren. Alan and Nancy served in evangelism in Victoria, mission service in Vanuatu and Kiribati, Dean of Men at Carmel College and WA Conference, before joining Trust Services in Victoria, NSW and then the General Conference in the USA.
